Today is a sad day for me. I lost my dad 3 years ago to a drunk driver who hit him head on. Pretty much ruined the holidays for me but I'm trying to stay positive and in the spirit.

I'm sorry for that Brett - I'm sure your dad would want you to celebrate as earnestly as possible in his absence.

I've been without my old man since the late 90's - he was a great mentor, buddy, and role model. I think about him every day.

my dad was a tough ww2 combat
veteran.
he died on dec 27th 1995
never liked the holidays before that anyway
after that not at all
just get outside and keep yourself busy
best thing i found.

i have a key to my friends garage i can use it anytime.
so i changed the oil in my van
and left the used oil and filter in case he needed
it.
a few more miles further is the bamboo garden
and its black pepper chicken.

do you hunt deer with your dog tor?

Ummmm, dachshund dog has a huge hunting instinct, everything from badger, fox, hare, deer, cats, european moose, the list is long.
That said, if the puppies parrents, grandparents and so on, has gone hunting trials, you pretty much know what you can expect your puppie to become.
Øsa has already started with deers as expected, will train her on hares in 2020 and I`ll always shoot foxes no mather what.

I lost my dad in 2008. He was 55 years old and far too young. He had an ATV accident, head first on a hard road. It was hands down the worst thing I've seen in my life.
I miss that man every damn day, the fact that my children will never know him is the hardest part for me. Just know that you're not alone. Like these guys said keep your head up.

until it was bouncing off the road.
so i took the linkage off his chevy to lower
the spare tire.
