Still not out if the woods. Almost didn’t make it home from the pain. Tylenol is finally got it to a lesser pain but still hurting. Wife is get me a prescription to hopefully help. Called the doctor as I knew it wasn’t right to be in this much pain and he said if it doesn’t get better to go to the er for some heavy drugs. Not what I was expecting today.

Fug man sorry to hear this! GFY it might make you feel better. Could also retry all our suggestions from when your plumbing was backed up. Couldn't hurt... much:nusenuse:

Just had a little food and back in bed hoping for the best. Wife got my meds and it’s not even a pain pill. Fml. Sure as hell don’t want to go to the er but it might come to that. I took a couple ibuprofen before dinner so hopefully those get the inflammation down and helps. We will see as the night gets colder and longer. If the pain subsides so I can sleep is really all I’d like. Don’t think that’s to much to ask for

That really blows, Nic.
Depending on how much Ibuprofen you tossed down, I've used Aleve pm with sucess before when the pinched nerve in my neck/shoulder flares up badly. Not sure if naproxen will help you though.

You can temporarily pop as much ibuprofen as needed to relieve the pain. Just can't do it for extended periods of time is all. GWS!

Talked to a family friend who’s big in the medical world and he said 1 Tylenol and 3 ibuprofen every 8 hours. Must easier on a person and works really well. Wish I would’ve known that before hand but for now I’ll just try and keep things as calm as I can without going for narcotics. Doing ok right now with a similar dull pain like when the stent was in. By the way they showed me that thing and all I can say is no wonder why I was in pain and it hurt to move.

I really appreciate all the well wishes and positive thoughts guys. To be honest the pain I was in was so severe I didn’t think regular over the counter meds were going to knock it down buy they have got me to a less painful state. I’m hoping that means things are starting to calm down inside me and I’ll get to sleep and back to better tomorrow

Raining and 70 deg. now.
Got my shoes wet doing battle with the main control on a boiler.
Had to wire in a new main fire control, Honeywell with less than complete conversion wiring diagram.
I had to think about where a few wires would feed into but in the end i beat it into submission.
Never did this before it took 3 hours. The boiler company wanted 1400.oo labor to do this.
If we were making any money i would pay myself a lot more.
It's only a 15hp. steam boiler that makes 125 psi.
