Good evening fellas.
Still not out if the woods. Almost didn’t make it home from the pain. Tylenol is finally got it to a lesser pain but still hurting. Wife is get me a prescription to hopefully help. Called the doctor as I knew it wasn’t right to be in this much pain and he said if it doesn’t get better to go to the er for some heavy drugs. Not what I was expecting today.
That really blows, Nic.
Depending on how much Ibuprofen you tossed down, I've used Aleve pm with sucess before when the pinched nerve in my neck/shoulder flares up badly. Not sure if naproxen will help you though.
Talked to a family friend who’s big in the medical world and he said 1 Tylenol and 3 ibuprofen every 8 hours. Must easier on a person and works really well. Wish I would’ve known that before hand but for now I’ll just try and keep things as calm as I can without going for narcotics. Doing ok right now with a similar dull pain like when the stent was in. By the way they showed me that thing and all I can say is no wonder why I was in pain and it hurt to move.
In about 1980 I saw Van Halen. It was probably the best show I've seen......and I've seen a great many.
So just before bed I was talking with the wife abs I’m pretty sure I know what what wrong. Once he had this massive camera with the tool to grab the stent in me he kept telling his nurse open close open close open close then he said he had it and pulled. Well he lost it and had to go back it. Same thing open close open close then an apology cause he’s having issues. Finally we have a good hold and here it comes. What a weird feeling this whole time. Anyway I think what happened was with all the going on and him having issues and the issues I had after the original procedure my body went in to shock worried I was going back to the hospital abs have to be put under. I really don’t know but the dog had to go out side and woke me up from a good sleep and I’m still feeling the same as when I went to bed. Much better then when this stent got pulled out
My anaesthetic wore off about the time my doc finished the left side. He stuck me again, but I never felt it kick in. When he clamped the right tube and pulled..........it felt like he had reached my liver and was trying to yank it out through that little incision. I warned the fugger beforehand that for some stoopid reason mother nature gave me a high tolerance/resistance to pain meds. Like every other doc before and since him, he waived it off like I didn't know what I was talking about.I had one of those experiences during my vasectomy, Nic. The doc was pulling on my nut tubes and the forceps snapped loose.
My bawls were 15 shades of purple afterwards and I walked like a cowboy for more than a week.
Morning goof balls. Slept all night and feel good. Can still feel a slight discomfort from the stent but nothing like when it was in there. Looking forward to a good day and finally getting to chase the wife around the house tonight
...I'd move!Good morning saw nuts, -17°F outside.
