All mechanics on the flightline get a pair of steel toe boots or shoes every year compliments of Uncle Sugar. Mechanics get a chit, last year was $130 to each, anything over you pay the difference. Many brands to choose from and Timberlands do suck.Fukthemtimberlands

I’ve got six or seven brand new pairs of steel toe boots in their original boxes...Georgia Boot, Carhart, etc, etc 12D and 12E in my bedroom closet now that have never even seen the hangar concrete floors. Should probably gift a pair or two this holiday season in the holiday thread or put ‘em up in any future raffles.
Noted dot dot dotI'm a 12 medium![]()
I’m a 12D (medium) as well...just some mfg’rs are a little more narrow than others so I get the 12E (wide) with those.I'm a 12 medium![]()
Well sonuva.....
Lmao he won't be saying that tonight.
Our boot reimbursment program here is similar. I work enough if I go in early for a slip they don't bat an eye. I've tried most of the industrial brands. Doc Martens were the worst, Wolverines and Red Wings made my feet stink. Timberlands feel good but they're light duty. Funny to me seeing Sketchers in the work shoe game. The only brand that I go back to and never have a complaint is Carolinas. A co-worker just got some Pumas, brags about wearing pussies on his feet all day.All mechanics on the flightline get a pair of steel toe boots or shoes every year compliments of Uncle Sugar. Any women?Count on deck with the NIB steel toe boots may be more like 8 or 9 new pairs. I know I still have these Thorogoods, Georgia Boots, Red Wings, Carharts that have never seen the hangar concrete floors. And I’m up for another new pair now...
