Wishing we had some of that rain Gary. Sure would help with the heat and the dust.

Dan, we needed it 2 months ago not now. Farmers are trying to get crops off the fields and this isn't helping. Did a quick drive in to the country last night and saw lots of barley laying on the ground getting rained on, definitely puts something behind the argument for selling the swather and starting to straight cut... really concerned for some guys that won't be able to get that up before it starts to mould or otherwise deteriorate.

It sounds exactly opposite of us. Our wheat and barley came in a while ago and we've started replanting here. Need a little rain to get the crops going again.

Our problem is when we get early rain it tends to cause the olives to fall off the trees. If we start getting rain now, they'll start producing oil.

Fellas I talked to mom and she just filled me in that she was able to get Lillian's medical files from her doctor after the court yesterday.

The doc is talking about the kiddo having nerve damage to her foot. I guess it's even been suggested amputate below the knee. WTF?

I'm a little shook over this news. He wants her to go to Salt Lake to see a specialist.

She injured the inner foot--I still haven't gotten the full details. She ended up with a problem with the nerve going to the big toe.

I was thinking she would need therapy, a surgery and recovery time, but I guess this guy is suggesting it may be permanent damage.
