I have some 2x8 and 4x4 red oak in the barn it's all got some cracks. I think it depends a lot on how you open it up. They say a good Sawyer can read the log.

No. Landed full body weight straight on top. Moved my head....it helps avoid a broken neck. Smashed the tendon and ligament right over the top. Happy days....no good mfer...........hurt too, still does

a good window maker doesnt exist around where I live.
I've never seen they sell window wood parts either, insane when we know how much those windows cost nowadays.

that doesnt sound good. Be careful with shoulder damage, it can be more serious then we though.
Young and on party, drunked, fell down stairs, never felt anything wrong until late next day. After 4 month pain did xray, was cracks in my shoulder blade.
