Mornin' Taco Saucers! Pretty warm today, but cooling down a bit now and some clouds passing over. High of 85f.

Been working on the boat again. I just about got the seat made and ready to be primed and painted. Got the antiskid down yesterday.

Here ya go....still some work to get done, but I've been cooking lately, so if I keep my pace it'll be painted soon.

Here's some more...

It's getting a ton of stuff done to it in the next days. That grey crap every where is fairing compound where I've made fiberglass repairs.

The wood I added on the gunnels is Swedish fir. It's supposed to hold up really well in exterior conditions, plus it'll be coated in epoxy tomorrow evening.

The final color is white. The grey is just a primer coat I used to get the anti-skid down. It's a fishing and diving boat, so I focused on function instead of looks.


Built in cooler. It's got storage under the driver seat for another removable cooler.


Front to back....anchor storage, fish box and dry storage boxes on the sides. And it will have a 12v power supply at the front for additional lights and whatever we may need.


And, nevermind my neighbors abandoned house. That fool came around one time and I tried to help him get it sorted out. He told me he's in a divorce, got a new girlfriend and the house was caught in a property dispute.
