@Stump Shot @Dub11 ...was doing a little reading last night and when I asked the oil question yesterday what was the difference between Husky XP and Husky XP+ , 2-stroke oil, I read in a couple of places that 'Husky XP' 61000130 2-stroke oil has now been superseded by the newer version 'Husky XP+' 593152301 2-stroke oil. Even Jacks Small Engines says 'Husky XP' no longer available, superseded by 'XP+' version. I guess folks will have the XP version until their stock runs out, then it'll all be XP+ oil.

Still not cost effective when you have to keep paying the tank Nazis every month wether you use it or not. I used to have tanks until my lifetime ownership was yanked, lots of folks decided it just wasn't worth it after that. That and not caring to deal with greedy firetrucks.
Would be awesome if Tractor Supply came to town.
I own my bottles but trade them in at the local supply place. I believe it's airgas branded tanks, can't remember for sure.

Drop off an empty and take a full one. I've actually gained two tank sizes because they didn't have the smaller one.

Used to do the same thing here, then one day a letter came saying your lifetime agreement (paid handsomely for) is now null and void, monthly charges will now be in effect. Which earned them a big old GFY from lots of folks.

Local welding shop is set up that way
Leave a tank take a tank
But everyone drive's 40+ miles to the next shop
Because the local guy doesn't half fill them
Nice guy but either a crook or a *pretty boy.

Thats what I did/do. Plenty of friends around here who have swap-out accounts with AirGas. Drop off my empty, grab a full, toss him $20 and some beer, everyone is happy. These guys swap out 40+ bottles a month, so its nothing for them.

When I was an Ironworker before the Corps the company I worked for had no issue with me and another guy swapping out our oxy/acy bottles; the costs would get lost in any of the jobs we were working. Bottles were considered consumables even in the yard.
