I'm totally living the dream.
I'll raise one for your bro.Getting ready to raise a glass on my brothers birthday. He would have been 42 today. You can see him at 1:50 here (not gory), killing terrorists in Fallujah as a Marine Scout Sniper:
How many ropes a year does he *f-word up?If you can't tie the knot just tie a lot. Says my dumb azz boss.
*f-word them sticky things. 90% of the trees I've killed were large hardwoods. Stihl hate maples... cut you to bits.Preview

Half the crown is over the neighbors yard on the other side of a 6' privacy fence. I'm looking forward to it. I get paid to climb maybe a dozen really cool trees like this a year. Be a nice break from wrecking sick blue spruces.
I need to send out my knives. An asshat feed a steel rebar to my chipper last week. Picked two pieces of steel out of his brush pile and wire. I always ask first and was assured no metal. He gets a bill tomorrow for 150 or the machine leaves and never returns there. Done with that BS.Lmao doing pretty good. Got my chipper knives sent off to Bailey's today for a fresh grind. How are you doing tonight slacker?
Charge him double plus dumbazz tax!Dude's gonna turn it into hardwood flooring for his big ghey man cave. I tried to talk him into not cutting the tree down. He decided he didn't mind the 50% dumbazz tax I added to the bid![]()
Extra 150 to bring the chipper back and double the hourly rate for cleaning up his fugged up brush pile mess he left youFor sure. Everything over 10" gets cut to 8'6" sections. Dude says he's going to take care of the branches himself. Bet he'll regret that statement when he sees the metric chit ton of branches there really is in that top! He's not going to like the price I quote if he asks me how much the clean up the mess after the fact either.
Ya think...Yeah I'm guessing he hasn't really thought that one through.
Through carriage bolts, 1/2" with fat washers and a piece to pack out the post to meet the rail rim. Trust me... been there done that. Wind loads matter.Okay guys, need some construction advice.
I want to mount some privacy screen at the end of the deck by the hot tub. Suggestions on support? Do I go 4x4 lagged to the deck rim like the railing ? What type/ length of fasteners?
Just chilling outI'm doing pretty good Todd. You?
We would have to ask Big Poppa.
I'm not allowed in there. Evidently, its unmoderated.
Some pictures of what you have to work with would be a help Gary. Through bolting probably isn't a bad idea like Ken said. Especially if it's gonna catch wind.Okay guys, need some construction advice.

Beer front..Morning guys. Flood watch around here until this evening. Already raining here at the hotel. May be on a full time slacking schedule today.
