My uncle was machinist for over 40 yrs. He had a slick setup to do the knives for a couple tree guys. Amazing the beating those blade endure.

Yep and the bed knife also. Mine is on it's last straight edge, and then time for a new one. Wish there was a good machinist nearby.

For sure. Everything over 10" gets cut to 8'6" sections. Dude says he's going to take care of the branches himself. Bet he'll regret that statement when he sees the metric chit ton of branches there really is in that top! He's not going to like the price I quote if he asks me how much the clean up the mess after the fact either.
