We had to put our dog down yesterday.
Been a really *s-wordty week to begin with and that's not how I wanted to to end it.

Saw that on Facebook, sorry to hear that Brian. Two pets in a short period has to be hard on all the family.

Sorry to hear this Brian. Every day I watch my lab get slower and slower. She turned 12 in May and she is much more careful when she lays down jumps on the couch or bed. She has been falling down while walking and even slid down the stairs a few time lately. Some of this is probably from her having one eye removed last summer. I’m dreading the day you just had but I know she won’t live forever unfortunately. She is still excited every day when I come home and if someone stops by she acts just like a puppy.

How old was he/she?
I've put down 3, each time it hurt badly, I've never got over any of them.
I hope its just heat changes, we've got 18°F warmer just the last 7 days, supposed to be colder next neek, no improvement off to the vet she goes for checkup!

Ya, a cat, FIL and a dog in the last couple months.
Oh..... And the dishwasher, washing machine and stove all have been replaced in the last few weeks.
Im about at the end of my rope.

He was 9, got Lyme's disease but never showed any signs of it. Until in the beginning of the week.
Took him to the vet and they started to treat him.
Took him back in yesterday and his kidneys were failing already.
It was like someone flipped a switch on how fast he went down hill.
I think he had it for a long time and just never complained about it.

I forgotten one other thing.......we found out were going to be grandparents.

I don't know if there is big enough knot to tie in that rope.

That's a terrible disease, sorry that your pet contracted it.
