And 5 a year old echo
Have never had a problem
I've fixed many stihl homelite McCullough and husky trimmers/brushcutters
Don't really know why
Most are chinese now.
Stihl dealer sells ethanol medic 20.00 treats 500 gallons and say's his customers
Haven't had any troubles since then.

It may be the oil they mixed with. I used to use the cheap universal stuff and pump gas without any problems. Synthetic oil has the protective properties refined out.

it’s the cheap ethanol gas that causes those problems it doesn’t affect the older stuff as much as the newer stuff

Epa is great they keep America workin to replace there equipment.The rotten bastadges. Alot of the Mechanics would be out of work if people's chit would run good gas. I have no idea the hours my Polaris 400l has. The hour gauge stopped working long ago it reads 1996 hours.
I like the year so never fixed it.

Old neighbor fellas honda 400 he bought it new.never changed oil just added more he said lol

lol im anal about running ethanol free gas and my oil mix in my saws but never had a problem even with saws and weedeaters that sit for long periods of time

I'm the same way I just shakem up. Pull it a few times. I got a 99 dollar crapsman weedwack bought in 2005 only replaced a spark plug. Gas stays in it over winter fires up every spring.
