So what’s your thoughts on someone doing this to their clutch drum of a 661?

This isn’t my chainsaw by the way.

I have not clue what positive effect that could have. Looks cool on an unused saw, probably be clogged with chips/dust withint a tank or two.

Yes that’s the guy, his prices are crazy. I got him to quote me a price to do my stock 461 probably 6 months ago and the total to do a used saw was $1100. All I could do was laugh and say no thanks. A lot of “gimmick” involved with him I’m thinking to jack the prices up.

You would be better of sending it CFB or on of the other porters here and at least get a real port job.
You can go by some wild looking Krylon Paint to put on your saw with all the money you saved. Lol

I think the real problem is saw dust go directly behind the clutch and to the oil pump and pump shaft that kind of stuff. That would go south real quick.
