So in the interest of our safety Turner Construction won't let us use regular step ladders. But if you buy one of these beauty's you are legal. $1,800.00 froggen dollars straight out of a transformer movie.View attachment 176312

that looks more hazardous than a regular ladder.

I know that guys have gotten into trouble for climbing onto trailers and jumping off here. Too many rules

We only have one rule on my press. Don't stick yours hands in the spinning things.

Safety rules... made by people that never worked a day in their entire life. It always fascinated me how these well intentioned folks willingness to incapacitate the working folk as much as possible, so as not to be mobile enough to flea from danger. All the while making up more and more in the name of keeping their J-O-B, I just can't put up with this kind of insanity.

Then you should never set foot on this site. Only 8 miles from home. Might be better off driving 30 into downtown to work on a normal job

I remember many yrs ago, Uncle Sam bought a *s-wordt-ton of battery-powered, plug-in/recharge, electric lifts. Some odd ass name mfr stuff. These were unlike anything you’d ever seen...not your typical Genie scissor lifts, 25-ft to 80-ft JLG’s, which we have by the damn hundreds on the flight line. As well as mechanical/hydraulic B-2, B-7 stands everywhere for mechanic use. It took more time to set those POS lifts up and stabilize them, than it did to get the flight control work done. I don’t have a clue as to who approved that *s-wordt...but some GSA contractor made a damn fortune I’m sure on that gimmick. They pulled them all out of service yrs ago, all ended up at DRMO for auction...gubment trying to make a dime back on the millions of dollars they blew. Then they wised up and spent millions of dollars, good money finally, on motor driven wing stands that encompass 90% of an aircraft with the exception of the horizontal stab/elevator, rudder work which still takes cranes and 60-80ft JLG’S to accomplish. Go figger...!
