Evening fellas.
Started some spring clean up today. Got my eves cleaned out on the house and a few things picked up around the yard. Had to go for dinner at my folks tonight so I didn’t get quite as much done as I had hoped but at least I got started.

It’s been a helluva regimen here in mid-Ga for a few weeks now. I like my yard to be weed-free...look like Augusta National fairways. It’s just me...but it works. Been a lotta sucking up leaves, raking leaves, etc...just want the yard looking nice all yr long.

How are your parents liking the new place? Still pining for the farm or settling in nicely?

Could probably be arranged...

My place looks like hell. Last year it was all I could do to just find the time to mow the lawn. I didn’t get any leaves or sticks cleaned up last fall plus I had 2 dogs most of the winter. Ive got lots of work to do just to get things presentable again. Good thing I enjoy doing yard work. Lol

Mom is doing great. Dad seems to be adjusting. He has a bunch of projects lined up to keep himself busy. He was complaining tonight that he isn’t a nimble as he used to be. Lol. I think he’s put on a few pounds which is a good thing.

Same here but at least I got the rocks blown back into the driveway. The new backpack blower has been a huge help. Still way behind from all the rain last year.

You can come a day early to the gtg this year and do mine. My idea of yard work involves the York rake

It’s a mf’r here with one set of hands... a lot of hours...but the rewards are good.

I find yard work satisfying. You work hard at your own pace and at the end of the day you can see the results of all your sweat. It’s a good feeling.

...and now and have for years, wi-fi driven, ‘smart’ appliances. I don’t need no back talk, *s-wordt from no damn side-by-side. Just cool my groceries and be done with it. I just want the mf’ng fridge/freezer to keep my groceries cold. And I don’t need no ‘smart’ washer and dryer...WTF. People love technology...right up ‘bout the time it goes outta warranty...and fails. And then they start loading up on 48-50qt coolers, and plenty bags of ice.
TROOF!

I was liking the looks of that muffler...
I'd run it as is.

So your hand rewards you kindly ?

Here’s another shot of the gal...she’s smart, funny as hell, witty...who spent the night here last night, cooked her breakfast this morning, left about 2pm this afternoon to go back to Atl to see her sister for two more days, then back to Mass. She’s a sexy lady, a good, level headed gal. I’m not big on her having a street bike, but she’s been riding for a few years. I know street bikes are fine...I rode dirt bikes for many years in my younger days.

But I have no desire for a street bike...after all I been through in the bad days and still sucking oxygen, I don’t need no non-paying attention teen mf’r taking me out on a bike. I’ve lost some friends to crashes that involved that *s-wordt over the last several years. I

I try to pick my poison...I gotta get my college/Med School daughter through her days. And I’m a heap better grounded in a Dodge Mega-Cab. Some of you folks know how DoD military installations are, you got guys from all walks of life, every branch. They’ve got some crazy Harley’s, choppers, etc. They’re fine, high dollar machines. I just don’t care for the two-wheel thing on the streets...not with these kids nowadays behind a four-wheel car, texting their life away.
