Why don’t you folks just get off that TapaCrap *s-wordt...just go through Safari on an iPhone, Google on anything else, keep the site as a bookmarked page, let it load/refresh on its own, by simply hitting the site logo.

Anyhoo...how you fellas this evening? Had a problem with my old school shop, side-by-side Kenmore fridge/freezer today. Had to vacate some groceries to an upright Kenmore freezer, and the fridge in the kitchen. Klexon overload that protects the compressor is good, re-circulating fan running good, kinda at a loss, but there’s a couple of regulator boards that I can’t find anything on, to see how to troubleshoot btwn test points, hunting voltage with a meter. One of my older brothers’ buddies is gonna swing by and check it out within the next couple of days. Hopefully we can revive it. It’s been in operation over 30-35 plus years...one of three side-by-side Kenmores at my folks house, and two other upright 26 cu ft Kenmore freezers, in the utility/laundry room. All the rest are still running to this day.

Hopefully it get back in operation cuz they dont make them like they use to

Most everything for years is just expendable, throw-away *s-wordt. If a motherboard, certain regulator boards goes out now, just haul the mf’r to the street, let the landfill handle it. Some boards nowadays cost as much as the entire damn thing cost...new.

...and now and have for years, wi-fi driven, ‘smart’ appliances. I don’t need no back talk, *s-wordt from no damn side-by-side. Just cool my groceries and be done with it. I just want the mf’ng fridge/freezer to keep my groceries cold. And I don’t need no ‘smart’ washer and dryer...WTF. People love technology...right up ‘bout the time it goes outta warranty...and fails. And then they start loading up on 48-50qt coolers, and plenty bags of ice.
