Evenin guys. We just got poured on here. No power and trees down all around the area roads. I have to be up at 3:00 I'm considering heading out and burning some oil.

Also been checking out side by side options this last week. Would be handy around this property and up north. Something three up bench seat middle of the pack price wise, but enough balls to do some forest roads up north. I've looked at wide range of models, so far the Can Am HD8 looks the most interesting. The bed is huge and the cockpit is laid out real nice. I haven't seen a Pioneer 700 yet but the 1000 should be the same and it looked very livable too. Probably going to come down to a drive of them both. The Wolverine X2 would be in the mix if it had a bench seat. I like what you get for the money with the Ranger 570 but it's a little too utilitarian. They're all some nice looking machines though. It will probably get a winch for pulling logs and fences. Anyone have any experience with these specific models?
I have been thinking about buying one also. But boy have they went up in money. They boy is taken over my 850 sportsman. 5CB20077-2900-4728-82AF-19A9EEF5F684.jpeg

Damn shame nobody wants to work these days.

I have been working for a long time alone. It's a unique job and if you don't love it, you get smart and find a better way to make a living.

Jobs like this one are pretty rare. I needed ground help to guide branches into a small backyard and swing 500# branches 40 feet. Normally I'd just pass, but the dodo client said ok to the "I dont want to do this job" bid, which is totally incongruous with the ghetto neighborhood.

The real reason I'm looking for help is I'm about at an age where I'd like to find a kid to mentor/apprentice. Maybe someone who isn't sure about going the college route.

Anyway I'm about to go topside. I'll catch you gentlemen later.
