Heavy duty feeder, with a dc 600 power source.

Just under 15k lbs of wire in that project. 500* the entire time. 2 guys 90 days

Ooosh!
That gets a bit warm for my liking. I'm guessing your "leathers" are a bit more advanced than mine.

Good looking work there.

Was wondering if you were running manual or an automated process. Got customers that line piping. All their stuff is auto. They set it and get outta there. Monitor from a distance.

Thanks.

All hand layed.

Use extensions to stay out of the heat. Just over 6ft is the longest I've used.

No leathers, hoodie, jeans and coveralls.

3 ft extension on the scaler, long blower etc.

That gets hot and stays hot for a bit. Makes sense. The thermo blanket I see behind it in the pics is there to hold temps. Just looks like garbage to those that dont know what you do.
Thanks for sharing.

Really neat during the stress relief.

Watch 200klbs get to a very faint dull red...

Then slow cool. That takes a while.

Check this out I seen this tonight blew me away. Tried to video it on my phone but didn't show up on screen.
Did some research and found this video of it
Starlink satellites
You guys ever seen this crazy chit to see in the sky.
I think I may have caught them in the the edge of a still shot, a night or two after first launch. Was just messing around with the point&shoot on the tripod.
I remember thinking, hmm awful funny looking light trail for an airplane?
To get that perceived angle (spacing of dots on the line effect) would be an odd flight path for this region.
I think I deleted the shot, not realizing what it likely was.

Mornin' Dudes! Mostly sunny and whatever today. I ain't doing nothing...not a damn thing that resembles physical work today.

I gotta get caught up on my tax stuff and file soon. Was supposed to do it before April 15th, but it got quarantined. Lol.

Y'all have a good Sunday.
