I wish I met the requirements for the stimulus check. I could put that money towards a drill and recip saw
Maybe mom and dad will give you the 500.00
If they get it.
My brother has 4 kids but one is 17 and not
Eligible for whatever reason.
I personally went with makita I'm getting a circ saw next and maybe a recip saw.
Solely because of reasonable oem battery price's 35.00 per for 2.0 or 3.0 under 50.00 per for 4.0 or 5.0
I like Milwaukee but I poor and they proud of their batteries.
Those are the only main brands I like personally.

lol. I’d rather work my ass off for the money than get spoiled by my parents. If I do get new tools, I’m thinking about getting DeWalt. My father still has the original DeWalt tools from when he bought our home in 1997.

Maybe I could find some older DeWalt stuff. I’ve got a thing for the older power tools lol.

357 needs clutch springs and there are a couple fasteners missing on the Super but both run great and can go to the woods. That Stihl surprised me how snappy it is set up like that. Looking forward to some comparo time.

I got something like that from my Grandpa.

Had an old Black and Decker Bulldog electric impact from back in the day. First tool I ever used that didnt have to be manual or need an air hose. Was impressive back then. Now ive got an impact wrench that will wring off 3/4" bolts if the nut doesn't agree and it dont give a *s-worde one way or the other. Its not as heavy as that old corded impact wrench, and I can take it anywhere I want to.
Not worried about a cord stopping me.
Had all colors.
Milwaukee is the ONLY one that can do what I ask of it EVERY DAY ALL DAY FOR AS LONG AS I NEED IT TO.
I make my living with cordless impact wrenches, grinders, and drills. I have the angle grinder and a die grinder that see a lot of use.
Milwaukee batteries are the key. They last a long time, and they are quick to recharge, even the 9 amp hour batteries come back quick. Have a 120 volt inverter on the service truck. Have two rapid chargers plugged in. They do their jobs well. Thats what its about for me. What I need when I need it.
If you arent in a hurry any of the quality brands will serve you well. I had Ryobi cordless tools years ago that I worked with daily. Still have them at home.
They work great around the house, and new batteries are dirt cheap. They just don't have the cycle times the Milwaukee's do.

Used dewalt 14.4s forever in the fab shop at work. They switched to lithium and still use them. Decent but to me the batteries lack compared to the milwaukee drill and grease gun I ordered in my new area or the 2AH makita drill, 1/4 impact and circular I use at home. Maybe the latest Dewalt is as good but I like my teal stuff for what I do.
