Iff'n ya got bored during the lockdown....makin shine don't look so difficult.

If a guy hasn’t tried running shine before and wanted to try their hand at making a basic wash/run it doesn’t get much easier then this one and it’s a good starting point to learn. https://shuggo.com/birdwatchers/

T
hat site gives you both the instructions and calculator for the most basic and clean wash if you run it off properly.

I can also recommend a couple different books as well on the whole distilling process and what to watch for if anyone’s interested lol. It’s a little bit of a hobby of mine lol

Nice! Looks expensive. Pretty sure that fella got 130 proof with one time through. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Not as expensive as that one ^^^^^^^^

130 is okay for the first run. It's what you'd call a stripping run.

I'd like to piss around with it at some point. Kinda got too many irons in the fire at the moment but it looks like a cool hobby.

You can diy a column still. Plans all over the place. It's a little cheaper if you know a plumber to source the scrap copper pipe.;)

Dude....

If you need me to keep an I out I'm in the cereal city a couple times a week now. Might know some people that work there too.

I don't really run much anymore. Often times I master a hobby and then lose interest and move on. I don't really drink enough to make it worth the time commitment. I'd rather climb a tree, grow a garden, play with my kids, etc. I'll run the odd batch for a gtg but that's about it.

Gots a 5.5" Ryobi. Good for plywood and such. If you want to cut 2 buh fers and such, spend the extra coin for the red M18 Fuel 7 1/4". That'll git er dun!

Quit complaining Randy. Its still cheaper to keep er(unless you found a REALLY good place to hide).
