Morning hacks.
The world has changed just a bit today.

Where?
I got an XD40 and love it

Oh and thought of you.

Lol
The man with a mission. His passion is Priceless
The guy on the right I do believe made it to the basket. Both dumb *f-words could have just grabbed a rope.
I take it one day at a time, but I hope a long time. I really do enjoy it. If I take good care of myself maybe 15-20 more years, but I don't climb like these young guys do. If I worked for someone else, they'd probably make my slow ass run a crew or a few.
I'm too slow now :(
Well, the details of the coronavirus control measures came out last night and early this AM. It seems the wife and I can move to do our jobs as farmers.

When we wrote our occupations with the tax office, we were written as freelance agriculturalists--we are an exception to the measures as long as we are working.

We have to carry ID and special application paper on our person at all times. Freelance people can sign their own applications.
Sweet
Morning All. Adjusting a little to the work from home schedule. Stayed in bed an extra hour, didn't sleep all of it but felt decent to just lay there and relax a bit.
Must be nice...
I woke up late at seven and ran out the door to pull tarps over the wood pile and splitter. Rain started early today

Has anybody considered throwing a virgin into a volcano yet?View attachment 231772
Only place to throw her is back on the floor so we don't fall off the bed, again. She's put together very well, oh my.......
Get these two on the same floor and a man could die happy :uptosomething:

Switch to a Stationary Rope System (srs). It's a game changer.
I did two years ago.

Still can climb but I don't have the stamina to stay up top for five to ten hours a day. I'm done after about four on big oak removals. That was my thing... rig big or go home. I still bust out the fat shock line on occasion 1.120" takes the hit every time!

Getting the high line set is becoming a pia without a gun to launch the bag. Trees are getting taller everyday o_O. I rope walk faster than I flip lanyards now. That saves a ton of time on widow maker picks or dumps. The auto accent toys keep crossing my mind but that won't make me a better climber just a fresher one.
Plus the market likes cheap young climbers. You know it and so do I. Most cannot rig worth a damn but a few pay attention.

2540 corona positives in Norway.
Police in Norway work quite hard to follow up those who doesn't care ie isolation.
A guy who is corona positive went out to party this weekend, got reported as he defently deserved, the fine: 2200$.

Couple of guys in a bucket truck took down two huge pines across the street from my house a little while ago...pretty damn quick about it to. Pine beetles got ‘em years ago...glad the fella who owns the property had them taken down, they were definitely within house-hitting distance to me had high winds, etc got ‘em.
