Randy, was this in the long barn? I'm thinking it is, based on chicken litter you mentioned...
That's when I'll lose my cool. I'm not sure I can moderate this site from prison, so y'all might need to vote in a new boss man.
it will happen soon by themselvesWhat would happen if the random arsonist caught a trailer on fire?.................
*s-word happens.
boringWell I didn't have near the excitement Randy had today, was super nice out, snow was super slippery so I decided not to mess with any wood and changed out a couple of bogie wheels on the Ski-Doo. Should be nice here in a couple days might get in a ride by chance.
boring
your sack is gonna freeze to the ground
Looks good Tim [emoji106].Damn Randy. Hope you get the mfers.
Very productive day here. Tapped some yard trees, found where our fence was grounding, built a 346, and shook down the 394.
Got my 2147 back whole too. I'd stolen parts for other builds.
Have a good evening fellas.
Thanks DJ. I see my avatar is softening you up. We got around a gallon of sap this afternoon per tree(28"+). Is that good? I'm a rookie.Looks good Tim [emoji106].
Yeah that's real good. You can throw in a couple taps on trees that size. Thanks DJ. I see my avatar is softening you up. We got around a gallon of sap this afternoon per tree(28"+). Is that good? I'm a rookie.

lol you didnt use it anywaysAlready is, it's still out next to the sled.
Two per tree. A couple of them we could have put more, but we kept it on the south side.Yeah that's real good. You can throw in a couple taps on trees that size.
Edit: your avatar still sucks BTW.
South side is always a good idea. My trees are mostly on a North facing slope and a lot of them are smaller. With 50 taps out I've never broke 5 gallons of syrup. LolTwo per tree. A couple of them we could have put more, but we kept it on the south side.
Thanks for the info, and GFY on the pic
We would do three on some of the 36"+ trees on the family farm.I was always told trees over 25" can have 3 taps but to never go over 3 taps. I average about a quart of syrup per tap out of my sugar maples Tim.
Simma down Boss......it will come back to bite him, but if hew need a hand..........[emoji41]Couldn't prove it was any certain person beyond any doubt.
I'm pretty sure with the reputation I have in this community, and with the words that I started spreading thru the grapevine, this guy will do his very best to keep out of my sight.
Keep in mind that although I've been clean and sober for 14 years, I was at one time a much different person. That guy still lives inside of this old man.
