Me thinks if he'd take the sound advice of the Dolphins jersey, he'd already be knee-deep in the gash. Can't help a young man but so much anymore these days...

I'm ready to put the bottom end together when I get a break from the Chevy. Got the tank and carb box done also. Waiting on a couple parts, but they won't hold me up. Have you started on yours?

Have you looked up LMC truck yet? Need to get that HD headlight harness.

Wish I could show some of the hot rod motors that got done in the pre digital era.

Do you have bumpers on to of the pistons incase the valves float?

Went for the funural, on way home I stopped by my second dealer, didnt knew until today but Kjell is fighting lung cancer. We didnt speak about chainsaws, stuff like that is tools, but we both exercise and enjoy the nature Norway has blessed us with.
Nowadays them city boys want to give German companies access to set up windmills everywhere, none of us like that idea!

How long ago did you do the rebuild? Is it mostly stock internally? Looks great Steve.
Been a while now, all stock, no hot rodding on this one. Had to have a machine shop install hardened seats in the head, as the no lead ate into the exhaust seats something terrible. Bottom end is still original with less than 50k on it. So, you could call it a major service not an overhaul.

Your welcome to the factory tbird 4 barrel intake off of the f100 if you want it. Got a extra set of heads laying around as well. The shipping might suck on the items though.

On my jorney home I stopped by my main dealer, have placed an order there, some part number fuzz we needed to figure out.
Done and settled and my 560 xpg will get a heathed wrap handle in about a week :D and my tool collection grows as well.
What wasnt good news is that some of the 242 stuff I ordered is NLA now, time to quit finding more builders.

Still in a box. I had a couple other saws to get off of my bench and I'm still cleaning pine tar off of 550s. I should be assembling one of those this weekend. I think one more 550 after that and I'll get it up there. Things have definitely moved slowly lately.
Looks like yours was complete, but I may end up with some left overs.
