Checked it out - The world's largest steam locomotive, known as Big Boy #4014
As part of the Transcontinental Railroad’s 150th anniversary, the Union Pacific Big Boy Steam Locomotive will stop in Topeka.

No. 4014 is the world’s only operating Big Boy Locomotive. It drew crowds during its day-long stop Monday at Kansas City's Union Station.

Tuesday, Big Boy rolls toward Topeka. UP's current schedule calls for it to depart Kansas City at 8 a.m., arriving at 402 N. 2nd St. in Lawrence at 10:15 a.m. for a half-hour stop.

From there, Big Boy is slated to roll into Great Overland Station in North Topeka at 11:45 a.m. The locomotive will stop for 45 minutes before moving to NW Norris and Clay to stay overnight.

Big Boy moves on to Manhattan and Junction City Wednesday.
