What's wrong with Stihl? I like Stihl but I'm by no means brand loyal. I run Stihl, Echo, Maruyama, Husky, Poulan, Toro, B&D and JD lawn care equipment, saws and the like. If I had to pick favorites, Echo and Poulan would be #1

I think for most of us "fix it" guys its parts cost and availability. I will say I just got done going over a FS 40C and granted its a cheapo trimmer its still better than the MTD Craftsman trimmer I worked on before it. And the Stihl was cheaper lol.
