Morning!

Got a new rescue dog yesterday. He's going to be a big boy judging from the size of his feet and head.
Definitely going to need some work to make a him into a good dog. But we'll get there as he's only 10 months old.

Congrats on the pup! Dem is gunna be sum big turds to clean up.......

This one and his sister were born in a shelter and lived in a cage.
So he really doesn't know how to be outside and free roam on his own yet.

Both pups we had were rescues. We found the little dude (Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix....we believe) next to a dumpster at about 6 to 8 weeks old. Thought we were just giving him a warm place to die, but he made it. Had to give him up after our daughter was born. She was extremely handsy and kept grabbing a fistful of him when he wasn't expecting it. His nipping was getting way too close for comfort so we found him a new home without little kids before something happened that he and I would regret.
We got our big girl (Mixed Pit) from a rescue. One of the best behaved dogs a person could ask for. About 50 lbs of red and white fur with a heart as big as she was. Unfortunately, had to put her down way too young this past summer at 10 years old. Still chokes me up thinkin about it.
Hated the constant fur everywhere (especially when her coat would blow out) and picking up turds 3 to 4 times a day (she crapped A LOT), but was worth it to have her around.

Somebody stole my heeler a few year's ago.
I still have bastard the tomcat got him about 2 year's ago friend's found him in the mountains.
And *b-word is about 19 year's old
She was my cousin's she came there after my cousin died.
Neighbor girl a mile away has 20-25 cat's it's insane
I was able to give two away.
She has three or four horse's a donkey and 5 dog's
That i know of.
Insane.

Animal hoarders. Have seen a few working with animal rescues. One of them was a rescue that the leader started hoarding cats and dogs. She had over 20 cats and 17 dogs in a double wide with her husband and kid. Oh, and a guard pig. They literally fenced in around the doublewide so anyone wanting to get in the house had to go through the pig pen, even to get to the front door.

All of the outside cats that I can get ahold of. I take in and get fixed, I think I've done 10 or so over the last couple years.

All but the horse's are in the house.
I set her up with a free spay and neuter program.
They fixed bastard
I donate to them.
Hopefully she got them fixed.

I’ve gotten 3 shelter dogs when I volunteered there.
Once they trust you and get loved I think they are a better dog. Imo [emoji16]
