I'm peaking around in the Kia Sportage forums. IIRC the guy told me he used ball joints from a Sorento, but the parts stores here only want to give you parts that match your registration.

I've got plenty of time to do research. Parts stores are closed for the weekend now.

I thought just the parts guys here were idiots.
