Which is better square or round? Is it quicker to file or swap chains in the middle of a job?

I'm gonna try to take a video of this dude I work with sometimes putting a bar and chain on a powerhead, you guys will laugh...he looks like a monkey fukkin a jug with anything over 84 drivers...lol.

I could grind a few chains by the time he gets a 36" bar and chain on a 661.

I might waste my time touching up my square filed chains for an hour or 2. Just for fun, and sh'ts and giggles. Then go and cut some wood, save a tenth in each cut, then go do it all again tomorrow. [emoji12]

I run a mix of round and square. Long chains I tend to run round as if I hit something I can get it back to running quicker.

I have not. Need some big wood and all I find is CL stuff which is... yard tree's. Vicious cycle.

It had another chain in it on another vise. I didn’t feel like taking the bar and chain off the saw at that point. Was sour about the whole situation. Lol
