Everyone here is FREAKING out about Hurricane Michael. I’m not even joking. Was at Lowes and there was a 35 min wait at checkout; people buying out plywood, tarps, generators, extension cords, water, propane...... Seriously?!?!? I understand if you have repairs to do from Florence, but this is a bit ridiculous.
The caveat to this is some people (ok, a LOT of people) are still waiting on insurance adjusters. People are scared to death of getting screwed by insurance companies and there are a plethora of houses that still have trees on them. Waiting for insurance adjuster to come out and document before starting any repairs. Its crazy! One of our close friends is missing 60-80 shingles randomly on his roof. His adjuster is coming at 1600 today and then we will tarp his roof. Insurance wants to inspect to ensure its storm damage. Its such bullshiiiiit!

It’s gonna come right dead on top of us here...talking 5+ inches of rain possible and winds 55-65 mph. Gonna start battening the hatches this afternoon. Probably be wise to get all the grills and covers in the shop somehow...
