Good Morning. Sunny 30°F/-1°C going up to 41°F/ 5°C. Daughter's house furnace failed again last night. Furnace guy needs to come back and check for this intermittent problem.

Had me scratching my head.Hoped he fixed it but that wasn't the case. Had many electronic snafus when working in a steel mill. Intermittent problems can be a nightmare.

If there's a relay coil somewhere on a circuit board that's where I'd look first. They vibrate and eventually works the solder joint loose. It'll be cracked /usually only visible on the backside.

Shot in the dark but I've seen it a few times.
