Funny thing about the welder we have was my boss screwed it up some how so now when the wire hits metal you better be on the trigger because its going.

Once it starts an arc she keeps going until you pull away?

That is the way mine is set up. Just use the trigger to start. Then hold on, it can get a little wild at times..

I have no idea about an interlock switch and yeah you got to hold the trigger to feed wire but if its touching its welding. And it wasn't like that until he took it for another job for the owne.
