Cross your fingers.....

One of my buddies in the DFW area called me on Friday *b-wording that they had 2" of snow.
Saturday they had 9 degrees, it was 12 up here in Michigan.

Then the bastard had the nerve to call last night to inform me that it was 78 yesterday....

Let's just hope the forecast holds mid to high 60's the entire time I am there...

Good evening guys

We've pretty much got no snow left after today. 12" of snow disappeared today with all the rain and 45* temps

The wind really started picking up about 2 hours ago, they say 50-55mph gusts
Were down to maybe 16" on the ground. It snowed 6" more today until it turned to rain about 2:00. I'm gonna build a good sized fire in the garage furnace and hope it slides off the roof. I don't wanna shovel it off, but it looks like it's heavy

loaded up some tractor parts my buddy needed for his tractor waiting on that money and played in my building a while how are you joe

Still waking up. Wheels on my chair flat spotted from the heat. Hard enough to roll on tread plate with round wheels alone.. boots seem to be holding up.

what boots did you end up with ? heat and grating is hard on my boots

I got some China, Keen boots.

They poured the heat to this puppy last night. Plus running production on both sides of me. You can just watch the beads sink in, getting well compacted from the ground shaking.

Well no. But.....

I've been heating with wood for 35 years. And....I've split a lot of hickory. Still never seen anything like this stuff.
Was the tree on an edge? Or by itself maybe? They get wind and sun twisted and can be a bear to split, especially if they dry out

But it's worth the extra effort when you finally get to burn it. It really cranks out the heat in the wood stove. Can't tell much difference in the boiler though.

I got my first 3-wheeler when I was 3 (86). I think it was a ATC 80. Then I moved up to a 125 Honda

From there I jumped into a Tecate-4. Those were some nice machines. It's a shame Kawasaki only made them for 2 years. I never got much seat time on 250r's but I believe those Tecates were quicker than a r.

From there I got a Banshee. I had that set up for dune running. I always wanted to go to Glamis to ride, but then I had to grow up.... Bought a house and got married...
