They are talking about closing our shop tomorrow due to the weather. I heard other companies are doing it as well and some didn’t even work today. Can’t say I ever remember not working due to the cold. Listening to this wind howl is just crazy. Hopefully the snow hardened enough before the winds so the drifting isn’t to bad.

I remember school only being called off once when I was a kid and that was after an ice storm in October knocked power out to most of the town.

Not me. Local utility did it to themselves, bipassed all local suppliers and bought direct fro factory for lowest bid. Bought a shoddy product that doesn’t meet the standards they enforce on private contractors.
