They are talking about closing our shop tomorrow due to the weather. I heard other companies are doing it as well and some didn’t even work today. Can’t say I ever remember not working due to the cold. Listening to this wind howl is just crazy. Hopefully the snow hardened enough before the winds so the drifting isn’t to bad.

Our dog runs to her crate instead of outside. Have to “throw” her out to get her out the door at all.

I’m glad there is a layer of snow on the deck, she hasn’t been more than 5 ft from the door this week.

Our German Shepard LOVES cold weather. When we visited New Hampshire (stayed for 3 weeks in January 2011 after ankle reconstruction) it was -5 to 5* basically the whole time and there was about 3 feet of snow in the yard; she lost her damned mind. Couldn’t get her to come inside. She would belly flop into the snow and wallow around in circles until she could stand on solid ground, raise her tail and poop/pee then continue to frolick like a damned puppy. Mind you she was 120lbs or so at that point.
