I remember a time back in the late 50's, the temp hit minus 30 and the buses wouldn't run. I lived in the middle of cranberry country in Central Wisconsin and two of my friends and I went cross country skating. Swiped some hot dogs and made a fire in the marsh country and had a weinie roast.
