Mornin' Sunday Sawyers! Decent day out with some sun. Hovering around 42F and breezy.

Started the day off with a bang. Busted the upper A-arm on the Kia. Spent the better part of the day welding it back together.

At least it happened today. Supposed to be sub-freezing and snow tomorrow.

Ya'll have a good Sunday.
Good morning Dan hope you have a great day my friend :icon_cafe:

Morning All / Evening Todd & Mike.

Great pics there Gary kids look like they had a great time

In the end Elliott was calling it an Epic day but it didn't start out so well. He hadn't been on his sled since last year when he had a bad crash and cut the inside of his mouth and was coughing up blood at school. He didn't want to try the slide at all at first so I convinced him to go down the back side first, I didn't realize there was a big dip and the bottom and he flew face first off his sled in to the snow. Crying and I want to go home!!! He did finally come around and overcame a lor of fear and mastered it by the end of the time there.

Anyone mess with a 3.8 dodge?
Stopped firing while driving pcm and asd are good
Can a dead crank sensor stop it from firing
Never saw one fail like this
Miss and run bad yes.
A bad CPS will stop a lot of cars dead in their tracks. Should be a cheap easy fix.

I haven’t messed with the 3.8 specifically but the 5.7 in my ram died when the crank sensor crapped out. When I checked the engine fault codes it was full of miss fire faults. My buddy had a 4.0 HO in a Cherokee and it did the exact same as what happened to me.
I’m not saying that the crank sensor is definitely your problem but imo it could be.

Climbing log piles with the Wrangler and came down hard on the skidplate. Jeep just quit, no fire. The skidplate had pushed the bell housing up into the floor and snapped the cps off. Good times :godsdrink0nw:

Thought maybe it was a Chrysler thing

Had one that refused to run even with new crank sensor. The notches in the flywheel were gunked up to the point the sensor could not read them any longer as they went by. Sprayed brake cleaner while turning over through the sensor hole, followed by a blast of compressed air. Was fit as a fiddle after that.
