Only 70f here. Worked outside in the yard until the rain started to fall. Rain has moved through but I don't think I will find the motivation to get back to it...
Speaking for the "Sticky Nut Club" I think I can say without prior authorization or approval...GFY and your 70F too! Lol
Sweet!........ gotta love them old Homelites!Climbing saw's
Do you know much about them Brian? There is 2 ez 6, and one 5-20. The 5-20 has spark issues, but one of the ez 6 was a runner. It just needs a carb kit.Sweet!........ gotta love them old Homelites!

One ez 6 was froze up, but here in camp with wd-40 it's free now with spark. I need to find a 7/16 chain for one of them. Cool old saws from the 50's.Cool old saw's
They heavy that's all i know
I've run a zip
I'm pretty sure the 5-20 is a belt drive saw.Do you know much about them Brian? There is 2 ez 6, and one 5-20. The 5-20 has spark issues, but one of the ez 6 was a runner. It just needs a carb kit.
Thank you for the info and the ipl's Brian. When I get home I will have more time to check them over.I'm pretty sure the 5-20 is a belt drive saw.
Does it look like it has chaincase where the clutch cover would be?
The both should be made in the mid to late 50's.
Both of them are around 80cc.View attachment 130721View attachment 130722

Evening fellas...killing some time in the shop since it’s not so bad out heat-wise, got the big shop fan and a squirrel cage, air handler return fan stirring plenty of air.
Son sent me some upgrade/hop up parts for these two Traxxas 1/10 scale Slash 4x4’s. Already installed new shock springs on the Ultra shocks, the red/black truck has new, bigger 2.8 ProLine Badlands tires and wheels, new extended height body lift...getting ready to install RPM a-arms all the way around and front and rear sway bars. Gonna have to change the pinion and spur gear on the red/black one as well to accommodate the bigger tire size for now, etc, to keep the brushless motor and ESC from overheating. The chassis setup on the left is factory with only new shock springs and the blue chassis sway bar installed down the top centerline...red/black truck has the same but in red color, and with the bigger wheels/tires. Lots of things to change...shock oil weight, shock springs, pre-load shock spacers, etc, etc, to get this newer height truck to hook up and stay on all fours without rolling in tight corners and turns.
I like tinkering and fooling with chit like this, it’s pretty neat actually...it’s definitely more involved than meets the eye, no doubt, to get ‘em set up and hooking up right.
The RPM stuff is really good, and is stronger than the stock stuff.View attachment 130729 View attachment 130724 View attachment 130725 View attachment 130726
