Good morning men
Hi chy don't beat yourself up it takes many hours to develop those skills.Hi Dave and friends, very sorry being out of the box, lol for too long, but I am here. My 'new' welding with this newly coming TIG welder is sooo poor in comparison to my blow pipe welding with oxy-acetylene, so have been discouraged very much with it, lol.
Have already spent one bottle of argon cylinder, 7 cubic-meters, yet not good at this thin steel sheet. 0.5mm thick is a hard thing to do. Have tired the smallest tungsten electrode, 0.5mm with gas lens with the smallest current 10 amps for welding 5 amps for background, but the small arcs do not get stable to the point I am aiming at.
Chy
Evenin Todd. Yesterday was good, gonna try this one our today [emoji38]Good evening Rodney how was your day
I'd be in the shop even if the sun was out Stumpy, she got any sisters?
Guess I need to start looking at the Stihl carcasses instead of stepping over them. To get to the Huskys. If your serious I might be your huckleberry...
Mustang Mike is probably the guy to ask, I think he even has a thread about it.
Do it!!! Just confirmed last night that @Canadian farm boy is going to build one for me. Will be the only screw adjustable carb saw I will own...
It doesn't really matter just cut them off to the correct length you can even use husky bolts in there I believe at least that's what I've seen on certain build threads whoops teardown threads I mean [emoji38]Morning guys!
Just a nice slow rain all day yesterday and it looks like most of the day today too.
Might try and get this little 026 built today. Hopefully I remember where all the bolts go.

I'm not any good anymore lol
i'm out of practice i just don't need to weld much lately.
Maybe he was trying to make it as good as a 394/395's.Ed Zachery, just jam a 1/4-20 SAE in anywhere ya like, crossed threads are still threads. Lol
Thanks Todd, Dave, and good afternoon friends.
Well it's a great toy to tinker with, lol. I got to know there are a long way to go to get some better fruit, I know it sure is a kind of happiness though.
This afternoon did some more try with sticks, a new muffler project for my Kubota tractor.

Thanks Steve, I lately got to know that phenomenon, it surely does. You're making progress. Just remember the filler rod cools the puddle, a different size will give you a different result.
Good morning Clint, how is your day so far?Howdy hoes
