Morning gentlemen. It’s been a good week. I got quite a bit done on the kitchen remodel and I THINK I’m about ready to go back with the new subfloor. When I cut some of the kitchen plumbing out I found the 2” PVC to be nearly full of a white crud. We have well water, but I don’t see how it would clog the pipe like this. I guess it’s just 25 years of nastiness. One thing I saw when I was in the crawlspace was that it didn’t seem like that drain line had enough fall to meet code. The house was remodeled by the previous area manager in 2001 and he had a plumber do all the plumbing. I cut it all out and left about a 6” stub at the 3x2x2 hub where everything comes together. It was clear that far down but it also had proper fall. I left plenty of new pipe and a bucket of fittings in the crawlspace since it’s 100x easier to get to that section while the subfloor isn’t down than it is to drag it all under the house through two crawlspace doors. I just need to decide whether to rough it in now or get this hole sealed back up.

Also, our son’s football team won last night. We got bumped to a bigger class this year and we have the smallest team in 4A in our region. It wasn’t a regional game, but it was good to see them get excited! He had several good tackles and made some plays. Proud of the way they played last night!

35 year old woman at told me her Nissan Pathfinder was running rough
I asked how many miles she said it had 50k when she bought it
It has 200k now I asked how often do you change oil, plugs, filters and put fuel injector cleaner in it
Never she said Nissan makes a tough vehicle
She said usually once a year she'll get an oil change if she thinks of it.
I'm going to look at it after work and put a can of Seafoam in it.
Didn't make it the trans started slipping and a wheel bearing was out and multiple other issues
she traded it for a 2024 mazda cx30Screenshot_20250913-101329.Messages.pngScreenshot_20250913-101345.Messages.pngScreenshot_20250913-101403.Messages.pngScreenshot_20250913-101441.Messages.pngScreenshot_20250913-101450.Messages.png

My days as a modder are on hold for a bit, had a little accident with the Stanley knife splitting plastic pieces, and got a nice cut on my index finger along the finger, ended up in the ER and needed stitches.

Now that I was lucky and avoided serious injuries, I think my knife technique needs to change a bit! 🤔 (or not holding the parts being cut with my fingers)……
