Ditto. I was trying to count same looking parts (on the board) and look for any groups of common numbers.
Guessing at a phase count or something.. Can't see in the cylinder to know what's there.
Long bolts in that part, don't look centered for an axial load.
2nd piece from left, top row, almost looks like a recoil unit. The little bit at about 8 o clock even resembles an anchor for a spring.
Seems a good bit of work was put into (some of) the finish/appearance/aesthetics, down to the black plastic part.

Maybe it's Hogan Heroes "Gonkulator" ?

Heck, watch it turn out to be an air rifle reservoir.
Probably the vape pen he was getting ready to mod.

Kids these days! With your fancy "AV" springy sprongy stuff and compression releases! In my day, real men had tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, and rotator cuff injuries!

And you know what? We were happy!
It wasn't like in the past, power tools were easy to use, nowadays with age I notice that working life consisted of long work sessions with vibrating tools, unlike @dall who never got further than oil and dildos.

It's an expensive Italian mod that has broken down, the mod maker itself is famous for warranty issues.....

So I take it as a challenge myself...

Not trying to be a know-it-all here, but just in case this is correct and NOT common knowledge. I had it in my right elbow for about 6 months several years ago, and happened to mention it to my sister-in-law who was a practicing nurse practitioner at the time. She said the medical fix was to open it up and basically scrape the hell out of the affected tendon, as apparently tennis elbow is not enough damage on its own for your body to send help to the hurt area. Increase the hurt and the body heals it up. Yeah, I did not go that route, but about 4 months later I was asked to play in a charity golf tournament (no, I suck at golf, hadn't played since college). Par 3 hole and I buried the 7 iron about 5 inches behind the ball, torqued the hell out of my elbow and made the rest of the day and following week pretty miserable, but within 2 weeks the tennis elbow was gone, and has not returned. Cannot say that was the fix, but I definitely increased the injury and it ultimately went away...I didn't ask any questions...
So bad golfers should be safe from tennis elbow?
Good news @cuinrearview @John Wargo

Hammer time. Stilletto, grandfathers Estwing, Craftsman and Rocket. Work has messed up my right shoulder some so when I need to do a little framing, if I don't have the air nailer, the Stilletto makes swinging easier.

Late to the party, but here's my 28 oz Estwing. Ex-wife let the kids play with and left it in the back yard for dog to chew on. That thing built a few sheds and tore down my elbow back in prehistoric times

Estwing makes good stuff. Their 26" campers axe is great for making kindling or for putting into the backpack.
