Mystery solvedWhen I pulled the flywheel and clutch and nothing was behind them, and the catch seemed to only be at TDC, I thought maybe an issue with the decomp. But no. Luckily, the pin seemed to have made a clean getaway.

I have another 36 in a box, completely torn down, with all of the gaskets, bearings, etc ready to rebuild. I've slacked so hard on saw work the last few years. I hope I can get this one back around shortly.

Nice! I just picked up 2 372XP carcasses.
They need EVERYTHING.
Found a Meteor kit that does that, just havent pulled the trigger yet.
And as to the saw slacking, DEFINITELY +1 here.
Just gotta blow off the dust and get to it.

The Meteor kit has jug, piston kit, rod, and crank, crank bearings/seals.
WAS less than 2 hundie. Maybe not after tarrifs. Havent checked.
If you have some plastics, id rather have scratched OEM than shiny Chinesium...
