Evening all. After we did all we could manage today Indecided we should get cleaned up and go get some supper and ice cream. Headed up the highway 30 minutes to Gimli and had some of the best burgers around. Drove halfway home and stopped for ice cream and walked the boardwalk a little.

I’m not sure where the water ends and the sky/smoke begins…

I think I'm allergic to peanut butter. As far back is I remember I've always had water right after having a PBJ sandwich cuz they kinda choke me, never went more than 3 seconds without water after having a PBJ, up until the other day when I was at work, I was having lunch in the shop as usual and forgot my water out in my truck and since I was in a hurry I just had the sandwich, and it was insane how in just 10 seconds I was almost choked to death my whole chest got tight and I went out to my truck to get water which was very painful to drink.

Sunday, beautiful weather, I'm going to bring in 4 chainsaws for cleaning and checking today.

Good morning OPE. Trying something new this morning, but pretty much everything is home made. Eggs cocette with eggs and chives from here, the home smoked bacon, and some fresh pumpernickel and caraway sourdough toast to dip in the eggs.

Caught a mess of bluegill Friday night. Had a mini fry last night and put some to sleep in the freezer. Hopefully I can hit the spawn one more time before all of the cottonwood fuzz makes top water fishing unbearable.

Read the Canadian fires are raging. About 1.7 million acres have burned across both Saskatchewan and Manitoba, according to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre. Manitoba's out-of-control wildfires are largely burning on its northwest border with Saskatchewan.
