Not goodInternet and landline phone knocked out, still have electricity somehow, see how long that lasts with four inches of snow and ice built up on everything and the wind picking up.
I think he charged $20/bearing to remove and replace if you had the bearing.
No chitI'd move.
I am probably one step worse. I usually view every project as an excuse to buy a new tool (toy) yet know I am going to pay someone to do the job...One of my worst traits is while I’m struggling I’m constantly think of what I need to buy to make it easier instead of simply accepting that it’s okay to pay someone else do things for you and being humble about it.

I was told dealers don't have a big enough press so just replace the whole unit. But, that was years ago.Wonder how that is they can’t be replaced, must be somehow they can be done but that’s not to say it would be easy or cost effective. I like complete knuckles anyway especially for older cars because they aren’t usually that expensive and even if it’s 75-100$ a side more the money isn’t usually worth the work to clean everything up and press bearings in and out.
Can't. Snow's too deepI'd move.
May be the case I guess but takes a lot of interference to stop a 50 ton press and for some reason I don’t think there would be a reason to have a wheel bearing pressed that hard. Unless they seat them in thermal plastic like some of the u-joints do so they don’t need keeper springsI was told dealers don't have a big enough press so just replace the whole unit.
