We installed new fuel line and filter in my dad's Husqvarna 372xp tonight to get that going again. Also worked on his Pioneer 1150, the same pioneer 1150 I had months ago. I paid $10 for it, but didn't have the time to work on it and wanted the money so sold it to him for $15. I had been told by the guy on the phone it was a mcculloch which had my hopes up only to find out it's a pioneer, lol. Even tho it's his I am the one that ended up working on it anyways lol, and the thing is it didn't need much work, cleaned the tank and refueled it and it runs, gotta clean up the bar and chain and clean or replace the kill switch tho.

Jon was considering trading his truck for a Ford F350 with an 7.3 IDI. It ran great, no rust. 13' steel bed. Good tires. After it sat for about 20 minutes it refused to fire up. The ol boy said "it just needs a shot of ether....and proceeds to fughin fog the poor mfer while I was cranking it. Welp.....that was the end of that deal. I'm sure it just had a leak that allowed it to get air into the lines and lose its prime. But how many times had that poor IDI been fogged with ether?

I've been cranking chainsaws a bit, not that it's going fast though, but 246 advanced ignition, around 6˚.
Now I'm going to make myself a cup of tea or two before bed.

In all these tariff disputes, in a way I'm looking forward to it when European producers have to dump some volume in Europe lol Not sure we'll get traditional American prices but let's hope.

Evening fellars. The old truck headlights broke recently and I had to duck tape one of em in. Today was replacement day. Im pretty leery about how good they will be. I’ve seen aftermarket headlights shine very wonky directionally.
I need some new ones for the 04 Chevy, but I’m leary as well. I remember buying some for my 95 F150 and they were like you described, all over the place!

Those IDIs had some gremlins but ran decent when maintenance was kept up.

It's a Ford. Just be happy if it's still running once it's dark.

I like em all really and have literally owned or driven them all and with 458k on this one it’s served me pretty well. With what new vehicles cost I could literally overhaul the engine in this one once a year and it would be cheaper than buying an equal replacement.

Now that tariffs and such are going to increase, and a tractor can become expensive, is this something for you @Mastermind ?

It seems like you're getting a natural massage of your well-shaped legs due to the tractor's vibrations, that's the only downside, it becomes virtually impossible for you to move out into the street with all your leg fans roaring.

So what is the FŲCKING deal here? You all piss and bitçh about politics and now we have talk about tariffs and grabbing em by the pussy. Hypocrite much?
I think there is a bit of fun being poked about tractors and contraptions..
tor's first language is not English , so maybe something is being lost/added in the translation .?

This is just my opinion 🤷‍♂️
