A guy I call him I am speed at work had bought a gsxr 750 this spring
Daily he'd brag about doing 150-170 all the time is
Police had him him pulled over recently
Cop didn't show up to the hearing so he walked
Reckless driving he's one of those lane splitters who likes to cut people off.
He lost control and did a road runner against a wall Weds
He got flung up against a brick wall and slid many feet taking flesh off his arms and legs
Broke a tibia also.
He's new on probation for 9 months can't miss so he's going to wrap his leg up and try to work
I really don't think it's possible.

Wow, brings back a memory of my 1st real MC, had moped and mini-bikes growing up and wanted a street bike, about 1988. Having never ridden a street bike, or anything over about 185 cc, took a used GSXR 750 for a test drive at the local dealer. Eased thru to 3rd and twisted the throttle wide open going up a hill, front came off the ground and went from 35 to about 85 in what seemed like a second. Eased it back and did a u-turn to the dealer. Ended up with a Honda CM400T for the 1st bike instead, I'd have killed myself on that 750 back then, or ended up like the guy you mentioned! Rode that little Honda everywhere til I bought the Volusia in '01, still have that one!

Good morning, guys. 71f heading to 84 with thunderstorms. There's all kinds of Katrina 20th anniversary events going on today around here. I think I'll pass. We'll raise a quiet glass at home to the first responders, rescue workers and power crews worked their butts off during that time.

I saw that a documentary has been released on Netflix, it was so hard watching the news coverage 20 years ago, I am not sure I can watch it again.

He tried to come to work with a boot on his leg they sent him home
He'll be lucky to keep his job we don't have light duty here.

I have been working with my neighbor on their roof for 4 hours, it is gradually progressing, we are getting to the point where everything is waterproof, in the transitions from roof to walls.
Next week we will take a break, it is also going to rain heavily.
