I need to find out the serial number of one from 87, but thought it was the same as the last setup I have.

On the 238 silver tag they wrote Electrolux though.

I think the serial tag is correct, but what exactly it stands for and for which market / use, I have no idea.

Someone said that it might have been a demo saw that wasn't turned back in after the test period.

I remember there was a discussion about this a few years ago, besides the way the serial tag is shaped in letters (which was unusual from Husqvarna), the other unusual thing is the serial number itself, we all know that the year has 52 weeks, and this one has 55.

Therefore I don't think this was a production chainsaw.
