Good morning. 75°F/ 24°C going up to 92°F/ 33°C.
If it was in your butt you'd know it.
I'd be asking how Randy knows,This is an example of the kind of wit that makes this place what it is.
Good morning.
Feeling more gooder, the change in drinking water has had great affect in this regard. Well water is very acidic here but wasn't really seen as a problem. Some pondering on just what 2 and 2 were coming up to, led to research and discovery of it indeed being a health issue. Now after drinking the water run through an acid filter first, the constant tightening of muscles has relaxed, which was what finally allowed my back to go back into place. This gives some hope for the future however miniscule it may seem.
Note: bottled water was also tested and while it was an improvement, it wasn't up on parr to be optimal either. So, it did not make much sense to buy water and still have to treat it before consumption.
Electric steering.Morena E Hoas.
Mrs text me at 0937 yesterday that the battery light had come on in her car. We were having one hell of a storm at the time so I thought maybe wet belt or something but rang my alternator guy anyway to reserve a new one.
1418 she rings, car has lost steering on the way home. She turned it off, and now it's dead dead.
So began a 2 hour collect, re-car and then wait for a flat bed in the pouring rain while she did whatever she does on a Tuesday arvo.
So yesterday I learned that our Honda has 12v steering. Day not wasted.
Electric steering.
Progress marches on. Right off the cliff.
Bought test strips, just put water on it, see what color it turns and compare in the chart given. Pretty easy DIY.How did you go about having your water tested, Steve? I am getting more health conscious lately and wondering why I am the way I am...
So what’s the advantage/disadvantage of said 12v vs hydraulic power steering,Electric steering has been around for over 20 years.
I don't know but my sierra has it and you can turn the wheel all the way and you don't hear any pump squeal or whine. It's very smooth. I like it.So what’s the advantage/disadvantage of said 12v vs hydraulic power steering,
cheers for your reply Ed..![]()

No pump to provide engine drag. No hoses, no fluid.
More complex, requires modules and sensors.
Depending on the system, can actually be quite compact and space saving.
I personally think they have less "road feel".
Electric can be more expensive to fix, but then again, replacing a hydraulic rack and pinion in some is quite time consuming and the parts themselves have also climbed in price.
One plus is if the engine stalls, you still have power assist.
This is not the 21st century that I was promised.Electric steering has been around for over 20 years.
Admitting your weaknesses is a big deal Ed.I don't know how to replace a pinion seal
Admitting your weaknesses is a big deal Ed.
The first step is realizing that you have a problem.Admitting your weaknesses is a big deal Ed.
Dallas does not have that issueI hate it when we have 100% humidity.
My balls stick to my leg.
Have you considered a career in politics? The first step is realizing that you have a problem.
The second step is figuring out who to blame for your problem.
The third step is monetizing that blame.
