Good morning numpties,

Yesterday was a testing of patience.
a friend asked if I could weld his sack trolly as It’s got a couple of hairline cracks
I say Yeh by the time I get the stuff out it be about half hr. 👍

I gets the generator out and welding stuff, the generator then coughs & conks out. I know It’s a dirty carb . I sort that out then attempts to start it, then the recoil spring breaks in the starter. I takes it apart and sure enough it’s broken and I get real greasy hands after I ping it out and handle it. It needs heating it up with a blowtorch where I need to bend it so it don’t break.

I do that and finally get it back together and then weld what I was supposed to do. That’s now 2hrs later.😴

In the afternoon I’m cutting a hedge with a long reach hedge cutter (hl 75) then the throttle cable broke 🤦‍♂️
But as luck would have it I have a spare which I shall fit this morning and carryon with that hedge.
Two words caught my attention Sean.

Numpties. Really don't know if that's a well known saying outside of our two lands.

And sack. Everyone in here is extremely familiar with sacks of course.

Evening diks. Another man down at the shop I work for. It was not a surprise. Spent the day working the docks again. Tomorrow they have some service work for me then back to the docks for Thursday. I was asked to smoke a brisket for a friend this weekend and against my better judgement I said yes. I will be asking the smoking gods to let my pitboss get me through an overnight cook. The neighbor has a hopper extension I might use to really load up the pellets. I’ll probably set an alarm to get up and check things throughout the night as well. Don’t pull it to hard the rest of the week. After all it is a holiday weekend and some of us will be honoring those that have served.
Are they wanting it early? Every one I’ve done on a Pit Boss has been finished way earlier than my stick burner. I call it my easy bake smoker, lol. Usually I start them at 4:30-5:00 and have good luck with them being done by 2:30-3:00.

I’m assuming a “sack trolley” is a what we call a dolly or hand truck.

Morning men. Up early to get the sprayer ready for the guys at work. The strainer and pump kit we ordered rolled in on the UPS truck at 9:00 last night. I’ve got to get the pump rebuilt and then take my daughter to the foot doctor over a smashed toenail…AGAIN. She is either clumsy or doesn’t pay attention. It’s coming off but we leave for our trip next weekend so they recommended “expediting” things, lol. Have a good one.

They will be leaving town around 10 am for a two hour car ride to the party. It will go on Friday night like I normally do. My neighbor has a hopper extension that I’m going to use to hopefully save myself from worrying too much

Numpty same as idiot… If Sean’s friend’s sack is so big he needs a trolly for it, then we know why Sean’s friends with him.😉

Think we have had enuff rain for a few days. Thank God we got the pool ready for the temperature to go down to 60°
Today’s project. There’s a house in there somewhere. The weather mystics are calling for above average storm activity this summer. I say enough already!IMG_5783.jpegIMG_5782.jpeg

Toenail removal went as expected, she got lightheaded and almost passed out on me, lol. Total removal to keep fungus and bacteria from causing issues. Those doctors aren’t easy about it either 🤢

Saw this on the ol’ bookface. I only work on cars cause I have Chevrolets!
