I was the alignment guy. A few years ago a began to refuse to get pulled off my own jobs to do them for others who couldn't do their own after they were given repair orders to replace parts that then required one.

I currently have about 4 cars that are just plain being twats.
Today's is a 22 Silverado that has a misfire on cylinder 3 only at 100% throttle and above 4200 rpm. I can tell you it's not the plug, wire, coil, valve springs, lifters or injector. And a cylinder leak down only shows maybe 2 psi difference...so, yeah...
Somewhere in those 5 miles of wire, and 12 different computer systems, there is a glitch.

That'll be 600.00

I just got dragged up front to listen to a 3.0 diesel that just happens to have about 200 miles of warranty left and sometimes it sounds more "diesel" than normal. Of course the service writer is Taco Tim and he says it definitely sounds abnormal. Sounds like the other couple hundred 3.0's I've heard idle.
My grip on sanity it loosening.

Put a sign on the dash next to the tachometer that says, "Do not exceed 4,200 RPM." and go have a fish fry.

I've seen bad grounds do weird things to a computerized vehicular before, that and the tiny wires they use corrode in the salt environment in Wintertime, and poof it's gone.

Spent some time cleaning air filters and threw a couple of chains on the Tecomec grinder. Have to drop a storm damaged maple for a neighbor. Going tomorrow to buy some 8/4 rough maple. Have to make a cutting board for the FHC GTG in June. Time to use some indoor saws.
