Morena E Hoas.
Rainy Friday, but if it clears for tomorrow...
Rain sucks, but it's almost winter now Adam.
Here in the navel of the world it's almost the season to show off our toned legs, god how I've missed the whistling sounds of older ladies on the beach!

Good morning girlfriends.

I,d been busy makin wooden crates. There for movin some life size expensive bronze sculptures. a man and a woman standing (separately), and a woman riding horse (which weighs about a tonne)
The wood and bolts\screws alone came to £800 🙄

I got to finish them off today, then they gotta be flat packed in a trailer. Ready to be delivered for next wk

Good evening mutts & co 😎

I had this morning finishing off those crates. Then dismantled the horse box/crate to then flat pack it in a trailer with the other crates on top.. the guy I,m doing it for definitely cracks the whip
It was 2.5 days without getting the wood and 3 with getting the wood but I ended up getting wood twice cos he fudge up the calculations
And I did it in 2.5 days cos they were longer days than I wanted 🤦‍♂️
Btw. although by using the old box floors and two of the old sides from one of the boxes helped a bit..
But the horse box was complicated because those 6x2” boards halfway up needed many fixing positions as he didn’t know the hight of the horses body because he also needs to run 4x2” with packing blankets rolled around them from front to back and side to Side to stop any movement

You know, I thought I'd been asked for some weird carpentry projects, but can honestly say, that's some weird (insert fecal matter term here). Sort of interesting though!

You probably won’t believe it.
There going on exhibition about 100miles away from the private collectors home. I think the whole cost to get them there is £4K and then there will be the cost to get them back again, albeit less the cost of making the crates

But that’s how those with lots of money spend some of it 🙄🥱🤦‍♂️

If I can get pics of the horse & woman in the crate ! , I will ask for them and info of who made them..

I used to be bad about tossing in a few random bolts or screws, whenever I crated something. Nothing that was remotely close to being used in the product.
And of course it had done in a way that could not cause damages.

lemme think a sec... how about a few coat hangers to go with the statues?

Of course, everyone loved finding the newspaper comics pages for packing.
Especially if they were a foreign language.
